A FEW INTERESTING IRONIES OF INDIA
Indian moms want their daughter to control their husband and expect their son to control their wives.
Parents want their children to stand out in a crowd but expect them to do what everybody else is doing.
Everything that is run by government looks very bad except government jobs.
National animal - endangered
National pledge - unintended
National river - polluted
A huge country of 1635 languages.....united by a foreign language.
Government talks about removing the caste system but you are required to mention your caste on every damn form you fill.
Seeing a policeman makes us nervous rather than feeling safe.
We often say "Atithi Devo Bhavah" but we do not allow visitor parking in our residential societies...

THE GRACE OF GOD
I loved this so am sharing with you:-
Heavy rains remind us of challenges in life.
Never ask for a lighter rain, just pray to God for a better umbrella. - That is the attitude!
Life is not about finding the right person, but creating the right relationship. It's not how we care in the beginning, but how much we care till the very end.
Some people always throw stones in your path. It depends on what you make with them; a Wall or a Bridge? - Remember you are the architect of your life.
Search for a good heart, but don't search for a beautiful face, coz beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful.
It's not important to hold all the good cards in life, but it's important how well you play with the cards you hold.
Often when we lose all hope & think this is the end, remember God and pray, it's just a bend, not the end.' -
Have faith and have a successful life.

Overtake
A boy with his parents was travelling in their car. Father was driving and son was sitting in the back. Dad was driving this car very carefully because it was quite dear to him.
After a few minutes later, a modern car overtook their car.
Son told Father, "Dad this car went ahead of us, please use accelerator to overtake that car".
Dad replied smilling, "Son, it is not possible, our car is not capable of going that fast".
Within a few seconds, another car went ahead of them. Son got annoyed by it and told dad to press accelerator.
Dad replied to son in anger, "You are only seeing cars which are going ahead of us. There are many cars behind us. If we try to catch up with those cars in front of us, we may end up doing damage to our car".
Son replied nicely, "Dad, you compare me with other smart kids and keep telling me to be like them. If I try to be like them, I might end up hurting myself right! You are only seeing smarter kids than me, but you are not seeing kids who are behind me."

" It happened some years ago but I can recall the evening like it happened just last week.
I was in an audience listening a speech.
The speaker whipped out his wallet and pulled out a five hundred-rupee note and hold it up for all to see and he just asked a simple question. "How much is this worth?"
"Five Hundred rupees!" the crowd yelled in unison.
"Right," said the speaker. He then took the note and crumpled it into a ball and asked "How much is it worth now?"
"Five Hundred rupees!" screamed the audience.
He then threw the note on the ground, stamped all over it and picked up the note and asked one more time: "And how much is it worth now?"
"Five Hundred rupees!" was the response.
"I want you to remember this," said the speaker.
"Just because someone crumples it, or stamps on it, the value of the note does not diminish.
We should all be like the five hundred rupee note..
In our lives, there will be times when we feel crushed, stamped over, beaten. But never let your self-worth diminish. Just because someone chooses to crush you -- that doesn't change your worth one bit!
Don't allow your self-worth to diminish because someone says something nasty -- or does something dirty -- to you."

6. Pls. post the jokes to the taste of the group.
7. Pls. avoid communal / hatred posts. Your admin also has a family to take care.
8. Pls. do not post IAS / IIT level puzzles. Most of us are poor back benchers trying to use technology.
9. It's okay to put only couple of smiley to show that you can laugh.
